This week’s guest is Mike’s languages teacher from over 14 years ago, who has recently written a book about the education system; Renés Lophanor!
In more detail, this was an in-person interview where Mike & Renés talk about Renés’ many years in teaching, why it’s so important for people to learn a second language, why he decided to write a book, the process of writing, what keeps him motivated, issues with the education system including the failure of the “one size fits all” approach, how empathy is important and you’ll even get to hear what Mike was like as a student when he was much younger - this is a great podcast for educators, authors, linguists and anyone with a passion for learning!
