This week Mike is joined by the amazing Beth Crane; writer, co-creator and voice of Kilner of the incredible sci-fi audio drama We Fix Space Junk (Hedley Knights, the other co-creator & sound engineer is also present but this chat primarily focuses on Beth).

Next week part 2 will be released, where the chat starts with Beth talking about the future of WFSJ potentially delving into other mediums, the other podcast Beth is working on, the importance of not undervaluing your impact on other people, the unexpected costs of podcasting, some future WFSJ products (including a potential board game), why collaboration is essential for podcasters, how being positive can have incredible ripple effects on others you interact with, the lore/universe of WFSJ and so much more!
The WFSJ novella, Automnicon: The Intern was discussed in this podcast and is available in the usual eBook places including Amazon!

It’s time for more science in your life, so get ready for the seventh addition of “Science But Simple”!
This week, Mike’s favourite scientist, Josh, returns to talk about misconceptions surrounding scientific terminology including mass/weight, hypothesis/theory, that “supermassive” doesn’t necessarily mean large in size and Freudian slips are even mentioned! In addition to terminology, Josh explains what black holes are, why the new image of a black hole is being talked about, how forces work against each other and more!
If you haven’t already checked it out, we lightly recommend listening to the second addition of Science But Simple (episode #12 of GCC) where Josh explains gravity, The Sun, The Moon, orbit and a few other things in slightly less depth than in this release.
For any newcomers, Science But Simple is a mini-series on Genuine Chit-Chat mostly about Josh explaining the fundamentals of things we see in our everyday lives in an easy-to-digest manner - episodes 6, 12, 18, 25, 38 & 47 are all Science But Simple releases, so if you enjoyed this chat, be sure to check those out too!
