This week brings another Star Wars conversation, where Dave, Maff, Megan & Mike go back to 1999 with the first of the controversial Prequel Trilogy; The Phantom Menace! The episode serves as a soft lead into the Clone Wars animated series, which Dave, Maff & Mike will be delving into in 2024 – Maff hasn’t watched the prequel trilogy in many years, while Mike is a staunch defender, so tune in to hear; is Phantom Menace actually any good?
In more detail, the gang discuss their impressions of Phantom Menace from when they first watched them and how they felt about it after the recently rewatch. They highlight certain characters, namely Jar Jar Binks, Darth Maul, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn, the political dialogue, how the movie was different from the original trilogy, things they believe could’ve been improved, elements that they enjoy and whether or not this film still deserves to be maligned even 24 years after release!
Keep an eye out for the upcoming episodes on Attack Of The Clones and the Clone Wars movie, leading to the trio’s upcoming show; Clone Wars Conversations! It’ll debut in 2024 and will be a monthly podcast by Dave, Maff & Mike where they’ll be going through each season of The Clone Wars animated series.

This week continues the existential conversation with actor, podcaster and deep-thinker; Thomas Rochester, talking about the concept of the soul & God, before & after death, prophetic dreams and so much more!
This release is part 2, where the conversation on deep thought continues; Mike & Thomas delve into prophetic dreams and talk about their own experiences, discuss past memories and alternate perspectives. Thomas then talks about communicating with one’s soul and how our physical forms limit certain knowledge which leads into a few of Thomas’ anecdotes. As their conversation draws to a close, the duo discuss how science & spirituality can work in tandem, an anecdote about vibrations and more – these podcasts are definitely for the deep/philosophical thinkers among you!
Last week was part 1 of the conversation, where Mike & Thomas loosely explained their theories on life and their respective relationships with religion, before delving deep into existentialism, self-care, the idea that we are all God (& if such a being exists) and Thomas talks about some literature that delves into these sorts of concepts (details below). The duo also discuss meditation, anchor points and more!
